I had the chance to watch STEP BY STEP in September when they did a test-screening in Berlin. What can i say? I absolutely loved this documentary. I cried, I laughed - it was a rollercoaster. I heavily recommend following Valentina and felix on their journey.
The two start to think about a change very naively when they find about the pregnancy. Pretty quick they decide to start a farm. Growing their own food and being sustainable wherever they can.
It is abosolutely inspiring to watch what this young family achieved. How sympathic they handle failures and setbacks and how bright the future is. For me the best documentary I've watched.

I just can not believe how good this movie is. Excellent actors, excellent dialogues, unbelievably good story-line, sets, costumes, atmosphere, camera, cuts, music etc, etc, etc. Well worth going to see had all the stuff I wanna see in the movie like this keep them coming! I was engaged the entire time and I thourougly enjoyed it. The cast was incredible. The plot was intriguing. Overall great movie that I strongly recommend. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. You'll be glad you watched it. Don't think you will be disappointed. I can't wait and I hope it never ends. I highly recommend a watch!
I loved seeing Karen Grassle back on the screen. Her performance was especially strong, like the one of Louis Gosset Jr and Tatum O'Neal. Unfortunately Cloris Leachman and Olympia Dukakis didn't have many scenes, like George Chakiris. But it was nice that so many Oscar winners came together for such an important subject matter. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease and a cure must be found ASAP.
