I liked the movie for the action scenes. The new cast is all good. The dog and animal advocacy in the movie was really cute and his sidekick is really adorable, i hope hes in other movies too! That was really cute. My only critique is that lex luthor didnt seem thhaatt evil in this movie to me, he was kind of soft on Superman XD. Also, it is great that the movie doesnt soend an hour refreshing you on who superman is, what his background is, etc. They just assume you know the universe and that is good because it is annoying to have that in some superhero movies. It did feel a bit Marvel-esque at times with jokes and comedic relief pauses.

You go to these movies knowing it's about the action, and the action delivers in this movie. It was a fun movie with varied shots and scenes and I think it's great for that. Obviously lots of plot points don't make logical sense but if you're at this point in the Mission Impossible lineup, I doubt you're even watching it for that and you know this by now. Tom Cruise is good in this movie, as always, and so are the other characters tbh. I don't know if this is the finale film though, that is up to see if Hollywood needs some quick cash grabs in the future but if it is then that's fine, it was a good finale.
