It's amazing how humans live double lives, it's something that happens on a day to day basis, i can relate. Although I might make this sound severe, but the truth is that the movie is very funny. Nashla and Raymond act great together. It was also awesome to see my beloved country again, it's not like I can visit every weekend. But I highly recommend it and plus it is safe to watch with the whole family with no kind of fear. How my Costarican friends would say : Solo Bueno. Only Good. On the other hand I think Dominican movies are coming along very well, this movie was done some years ago, but i think this is timeless.

I have watched a lot Dominican films, but this one is one of the best.
I watched with my kids last weekend, and it really left us with something funny to talk about at dinner time.
Its the type of movie everyone in the house can watch and enjoy.
Shows the reality of how people live, and what they dream about in Dominican Republic The humor used in this film was epic, to many Dominicans its legendary.
The actors did an excellent job proving that this country has talent.
The scenarios on this film are culturally driven.
Kids love this film, its definitely family fun.
I would recommend this film to anyone.

It's amazing how movies have become so empty and lack character and a positive message for the younger viewers,
this wasn't the case with Lotoman. It honestly showcases a series of beliefs that people have regarding money and what that will do to their lives and help it make it better. This movie is a true example of how family and love comes over all.
I truly recommend it as a film to watch with family. If you are Dominican like myself you will also find a lot of insights which will transport you to the island. I have 25 years since i left the island and it was like going back. I have a lot of high hopes for Dominican films and looking forward to watching "Lotoman 2.0" in the next days.
