I honestly think The Way Home is the best Hallmark series I have seen and especially so in recent years. Hallmark has become more and more predictable. This particular series strays from that and it is truly refreshing. The ongoing mystery of the show and the cast makes for a full blown hit. I have looked forward to watching the show each week as well as to the upcoming 2nd season.
First, the storyline is very entertaining as it really is a mystery of what has happened with The Landry Family and friends from past to present. Where will the infamous pond take Kat and/or her daughter Alice each week? Who is involved in all of the years, what happened and how? Is the brother/son still alive and if so in what time frame? The time switch of the same characters adds a true interest that is not often seen in other series. Seriously, the show really holds your attention!
Also, the dynamics between the characters are very entertaining to watch. Elliot is by far my favorite with his quick wit, intelligence, sensitivity and very responsive facial expressions. I love him! He adds interest to the mostly troubled character of Kat. You look forward to seeing where their relationship may or may not go. Kat's daughter, Alice, and her mother, Del, do not disappoint with their storyline and their interactions with each other. Each week they seem to evolve more as the story continues.
Thank you to the actors, writers and ALL who is involved in this interesting show. You have made a successful series, no doubt!

Honestly, I found this movie to be truly enjoyable and so funny. A friend and I went to see it recently and honestly laughed all the way through the movie. It was truly a feel good movie to us. It has a good message of acceptance. Is it very deep? No, it is not but it does have a very good message of love yourself for who you are and you can be confident without being a super model type.
In the way our society has trended over the years to be as "perfect" as one can be to be accepted, this movie is a much needed relief in regard to this trend. The push to be model thin and fit, not to mention the need for rhinoplasty, breast implants, cheek implants, facelifts, lip fillers, porcelain veneers, modern hair cuts with the latest color trend, constantly manicured nails, etc. to achieve that perfection, is just TOO much these days for many. It seems to get worse each year instead of better.
I honestly feel sorry for those who are young and did not grow up in an era where people were much more natural and beauty was not so contrived and pushed by society in such a profound way.I appreciate this movie in helping others to understand through its message that you do not have to be perfect to be valued and accepted.
I highly recommend this movie.

This is another reality show that is not total reality. Still, I find "Chrisley Knows Best" an entertaining show in a lighthearted way. Honestly, I can't tell you how many times i have laughed at Chrisley and his reactions to various family situations. He has moments where he is hilarious - facial expressions and quick comebacks, especially. I am from the South and find the family totally relatable. Their accents, expressions, food, family togetherness, etc., are quite familiar. Each family member brings something interesting to the show and it makes for an entertaining show as a whole. Also, I appreciate the fact that this show is a reality show that does not shock you with their family values.
