I bought this on Amazon prime as I like James Nelson Joyce and thought the trailer looked interesting.

Decent gritty UK drama, obviously made on a small budget but the acting was top notch and the smaller budget just added to the gritty realism.

I'd say it was better than I expected it to be and would recommend it to those who enjoy a proper UK drama film.

I thought this documentary was well made as with most shows from Dan Reed. It manages to tell things from both sides. We have a massive problem in the UK at the moment with immigration and although there was misinformation on who committed these specific murders, this is a case of enough is enough. We have a so called Prime Minister who doesn't listen or care about us British and would rather look after immigrants. They come here and get a free pass in life and unfortunately some of the immigrants coming over will go out and commit horrendous crimes in a short amount of time of being here. This documentary captures some of the riots across the country with some help from YouTubers like DJE Media and Wesley Winter who were present at a couple of them. I found it an interesting watch as I'd already seen a lot of footage of the riots on YouTube. It also contains interviews from a family that was affected by the murders which is quite sad and a difficult watch.

Not really sure what all the hate is about to be honest. It's Saturday night entertainment and it entertains. Lots of fun rounds, music and a bit of comedy, better than a lot of other things on telly at the moment. Me and the wife are enjoying it anyway, good family entertainment on a Saturday night.

Maybe some people are affected by the fact this is a British version of a US show. Being from the UK myself I would obviously much rather watch this than the US one, I haven't seen the original but I can imagine how much more cringey and false everyone would seem.

Personally I don't think it deserves the hate, I was actually quite surprised by the lack of good reviews.
