Prerecorded backgrounds on film with actors green screened in whilst recorded on video. The final product is rubbish. The acting is flat at best along with the writing. The makeup subpar. I've seen much better makeup by amateurs at Dragon Con and Comic Con. Elizabeth McGovern's makeup is especially bad. She looks like a cadaver.

The whole production is a stellar failure. Maybe they should stop before they dig themselves any deeper in annals of crappy TV.

This was an abysmal attempt at a Star Trek movie. The plot was trite. The characters were irrelevant and, quite frankly, irritating. I feel horrible for Michelle Yeoh as her acting skills are far, far superior to everything else in this movie. Gene Roddenberry should haunt the writers, producers, directors, and studio for producing this trash. It was almost embarrassing to watch Michelle Yeoh shine and every other actor fall flat because their script was so badly written and their personas so far out as to be unbelievable. I was unable to suspend my disbelief as I would with any other Star Trek endeavor and just enjoy a new Star Trek experience. So much rubbish.

That MARVEL is creating new characters based on indigenous peoples from North America is so heartwarming. Native American culture should be celebrated by all. Being of indigenous descent I am so glad to see Native Americans making an impact on popular culture. The story was one of courage in the face of adversity, apathy, and seemingly insurmountable obstacles. That MARVEL collaborated with indigenous groups and cultural institutions in the making of this episode is a good thing to see. That MARVEL hired indigenous actors and used their language to create this was refreshing. Yes people, you will have to read the subtitles. Now let's see a major motion picture based on these characters.
