I was perusing the " art fims " area of Night Flight and found this. First the two leads. Theresa Russell and Art Garfunkel are a amazing combo. At first kind of a huh them but then you see his obsession and her alternate lover ( at first). We start with a suicide , no spoilers. The subsequent build up to it. This is master story telling by Roeg the director. If you've been in any kind of a relationship like this , it so damn real. Anyway the cops get involved etc. All the supporting roles are excellently played also. Art Garfunkel is a great actor and I got so frustrated with his character. He's a psychiatrist, some of his actions to me seem so ridiculously condescending. He's obsessed with her and she's married ,which is already a bad bedrock for a relationship. Theresa Russel masterfully plays the wild, trapped?, sensous woman who becomes obsessed with him also. They become toxic. Like I said no spoilers. You will get frustrated with Art's character though. He plays part doormat part Jerk at times. The chemistry between them is electric. I mean he met her already her being the seductive one. So why is he .....well you'll have to watch. Just another great Theresa Russell film.
So first this idea is not new , there's been movies on this idea, series etc. .. The feel though is very well done. After all it's all grunts and uhhhhhhhs. But there is a gross yet poignant moment..where the older zombie gives a younger child zombie " a hand ". Never had a severed hand been used so ( lovingly ? ). The episode really wants you to feel zombies are people too.
I won't give away the end . The vibe was perfect. Dad like or Dad zombie pushing the daughter like or daughter zombie was almost a dark version of idyllic. So far this has been favorite in this anthology. This is a solid 9.

Ok this is cool based on a video game , kinda numerous and vibing of off Preacher and Doom Patrol with a little mad Max, the current incarnation. Plus crazy action a little bit slow to start as far as plot but so far ,unless it crash n burns later. It very interesting have to say the literal " show " was not what I was expecting from the evil clown guy. Hoping I don't regret this rating ...thanx Peacock...btw we get to watch Beatriz!!! Always been a fan... Since she was in that comedy cop show produced by Rashida Jones. So yes I'm only just starting the show. But I like the vibe it's giving. Brain matter? No, Brainless ? Yes in a good way. Like I said Doom Patrol. The dialog kinda doomy and the characters could've been outside characters from Preacher. So sit back unplug and forget the rest of the world full of actual characters from Preacher.
