I had to make a review on here. I typically detest all things TP. Yet, I was like let me see what's this project about. I turned it on and while I felt that we need to get a sensorial connection to the characters in that first scene to ground the story... the rest was really well done. You could tell all of the talent had objectives that were clear and they were totally dedicated to it. The writing was well done. I love that while the atmospheric elements have been seen before in films - the unexpected alignment of storylines really showed like expert storytelling skills. The production value was excellent. The wardrobe amazing- the wealthy characters were flawless and super attractive. The non wealthy were dressed to fit the role and it was all authentic.

Jules character stood out. Mallory character stood out. The wealthy elder brothers stood out. Debbie stood out. And like everyone did!!!! The Kimmie character, Body, the family attorney.

Overall high drama, high quality, great character development, high quality production value, high quality writing, and high quality sets.

It allows Blacks folks to see how layered we are. For better or worst!

Signed a former TP hater.

This film unexpectedly amazing film that exceeded my expectations. I stumbled upon it through a Facebook post and decided to give it a chance. The presence of high-quality actors in the cast immediately piqued my interest, as I know they're selective about their projects.

It brilliantly showcases the value of military skills, composure, and intelligence. With a well-crafted script and excellent casting, it strikes a perfect balance between uncertainty and unpredictability. There were moments when I thought I could anticipate the next move, only to be pleasantly surprised.

Arron Pierre leads the film with remarkable talent. This is actually my first time seeing him on screen, and he really exudes confidence, calmness, and intelligence with his character. His portrayal of a respectful military/statesman who helps and leads effectively is impressive. I particularly appreciated how he improved each situation he encountered. He was always listening. Always paying attention! Smart!

One of the film's strengths is how it continually raised the stakes, presenting increasingly challenging obstacles for the characters to overcome. The entire m team deserves high praise for their fantastic work.

Overall, "Rebel Ridge" is a dramatic and engaging film that I'm eager to watch again. It's a testament to the power of giving new content a chance based on intriguing recommendations and a strong cast - leads and supporting!

This film surprised me despite its awful reviews. I decided to watch it and found a well-developed story with a protagonist who undergoes a clear transformation. The film effectively presents a hero, a defined goal, and obstacles to overcome.

Audra and Glenn Close both delivered strong performances. It's unsettling to consider that we all grapple with metaphorical demons in our lives, much like the characters in the film. I teared up at how fractured the family was and their collective struggles with personal demons.

The fact that this is based on a true story is wild. I'll need to look up more details about the real events. It's truly scary to think these events actually occurred!

I'd be willing to watch it again, given its depth, the quality of the performances, and the emotional impact it had on me.
