Sadly much of the series is predicated upon the notion that archaeologists are conspiring to keep us from the "truth". Exploration is at the mercy of funding, technology, diplomacy, war, climate, labor, etc. Archaeology is an evolving field of science. The 2nd season shows the use of new technology to detect traces of ancient humanity. Archeologists use this technology to make new discoveries, not to suppress knowledge.
Skepticism is always abundant in the face of new discoveries. Graham suggests this is a conspiracy rather than cautious peer review. The science world LOVES discovery, especially that which debunks conventional wisdom. Its an interesting series but it must be taken with a grain of salt.

It's a 60s bubble gum music meets superhero movie. It's neither bad nor good. It doesn't leave me wishing for a sequel but I'd watch it if one were made. Both Woody and Tom play their roles respectively but there's little depth, which may be the reason I find the film to be so average. The script left little room for character development for these actors to shine. Venom might play better as a darker psychological thriller rather than the typical smash em up Marvel action movie. If contemplating whether to watch, don't watch this movie because you like Hardy or Harrelson, watch it because you like the genre.
