Same schedule with COVID and Masters classes, the viewing of movies got decreased once again this year.

COVID affected the viewing time drastically. Instead of increase in watch hours, it got decreased to a great extent.

Even more selective this time. Watched only a handful of movies. I have started to lose patience, staying still and just staring the screen. Also, I had a date for few months and I prepared for GRE and IELTS as well. Following is the list of the movies I liked this year.

I don't know why, it was very hard for me to list even 10 movies that were best this year. Maybe, because my viewing rate decreased drastically due to thesis and new job. Here are the ones, I enjoyed watching. The list will keep updating.

I was never a fan of Nepali movies, and I used to think, Nepali movies have a long way in order to catch up with the qualities of Hollywood or Bollywood. After watching the IMDb Top 250 list and many critically acclaimed as well as popular movies, I returned back to watching the movies produced in Nepal. I used to watch those movies as a child, but re-watching some of those movies make me wonder, "Oh! There were such movies at that time!" 

Having watched a lot of movies in many different languages, and reading about them, I feel like I now have a proper sense of what good movies are. In my opinion, these movies are some of the best movies produced in the history of Nepali movies industry, the movies that will just stay in our brains long after 'The End'. These are the movies that made strong impact to me and I hope it does same to you. The list is short but I hope, it gets longer and better. I'm sure, if you watch all the movies in this list, your perception towards Nepali movies will change.

Due to the disastrous earthquake in April, 2015, my viewing of action movies went down (because I felt the earth shaking when the action scenes start). Still, I managed to get some. I haven't watched most of the popular movies yet but among the watched, these were my bests.
