For most of the time I was watching this movie I was trying to figure out what I've seen the actress playing Wendy in before that she looked so familiar. And that about sums up how gripping this movie was for me.
The premise of this movie held so much potential but unfortunately no-one involved managed to bring any of that potential to the screen.
The most positive comment that I can make about this movie is that after spending 40+ years gathering dust in an archive somewhere, it should re-appear on the Public Domain and therefore be a perfect candidate for showing on 'The Schlocky Horror Picture Show', with Nigel updating viewers on the careers of everyone involved in the creation of this underwhelming production.

In order to start my review with something positive about this movie I am only able to reference one scene, that being the one which was a well-executed parody of the most famous scene from 'Ghost' (1990).
Beyond that I found this movie to be a tediously clumsy attempt at comedy, neither clever enough to be a parody in its entirety nor witty enough to be considered a spoof. I cannot say that any of the anachronisms worked comedically and to my mind they were an annoyance that added nothing to either the characterisations or the plot, for example, transposing The Titanic to the Victorian era was quite simply, totally pointless to any aspect of the movie and had no comedic value at all so, why do it?
I expect this movie will feature strongly at the next annual Raspberry Awards and I would not be at all surprised if, in time, it becomes a cherished cult film in the manner of 'Plan 9 From Outer Space' and 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes'.
