As a huge John Wick fan my anticipation to watch this movie was heavily on the fence. It finally went on sale on Prime, boy howdy am I glad I didn't rent it for full price. It's full of action, true to what John Wick is, but the action became some what predictable. Here is why I say that; with Wick you watched him get his butt thoroughly kicked. You watched him bleed, you watched him hurt, you watched him falter but he rallied himself to complete the task. You never knew which fights were his to win or his to battle. With Ballerina once she became the "killer" she always came out on top suffering little to no damage. This is not true to what we expect from the history of what Wick is.
Don't get me wrong, she is a talented young lady, but the key word there is young. There is no way she became the way they portrayed her in such a short period of time. The movie felt rushed. I was hopeful for this character but if I'm being honest, I felt let down. This character cannot carry the legacy forward if that is what they were hoping for. If they make another one with Ballerina I hope they developed her more, make her more deserving of what we all expect from the John Wick legacy. If I'm being truly honest I wouldn't mind seeing a little more of Norman Readus character and that "tribe".
So, now we ask the question; would I watch this again. My answer is yes but I wouldn't rent it again. I enjoy a good action movie and this one may be a little predictable but it's full of action. On to the next.

You know sometimes you've just gotta take a chance on things. I love a good movie no matter who the target audience is. This movie was a good watch. It's slow at first, nothing really makes much sense but stick with it, the answers do come and in the end it all makes sense. This movie reminds us that all it takes sometimes is 1 person, young or old, to feel, accept, attempt to make difference in another living thing's life. To dare to be brave and go against what's become the norm because of fear and superstitions. Because sometimes all it takes is the soul of 1 to show the possibilities to the many. This movie, in my opinion, teaches us that. I don't want to give away anything but if your soul, your spirit is tender and prone to emotions then you might want to have some tissues for the ending. So if you intrigued by the story, the scenery, the connections then stick it out and watch it to the end. Now for always question, would I watch this again; yes i would watch it again. Mind you its not on my list of i can watch this over and over but it does deserve a second watch. On to the next.
