Predator and They Live are closer to action movies for me. Gremlins is more of a comedy. That's why they aren't included.

De kunstzinnigere, experimentele kant van de filmwereld. Films die je moet kijken met de juiste gemoedstoestand, maar die zeer belonend kunnen zijn. Als je 2001: A Space Odyssey kan waarderen dan kunnen deze films misschien ook prikkelen.

I consider Green Room and I Saw the Devil to be thrillers, not horror movies. Both excellent movies though. The Lighthouse wasn't released in the Netherlands until 2020, I'm treating as a 2020s movie for that reason. My list, my rules.

Gremlins 2 is too much of comedy. Great movie, lots of fun, just not really a horror movie.

IMDb lists the John Waters movies Desperate Living and Pink Flamingos as horror movies which I don't really agree with. Great movies though.

Diabolique is listed on IMDb as a horror film but I see it as more of a thriller, that's why I didn't include it.
