Captavating look at the casting for My Brilliant Friend and the real life friendship that develops between the two main characters. Behind the scenes look at the making of the series. I hope more of this will be released with the DVD.
I can't wait for season 2 to come out!
This is my very first review on IMDB. I watched this after hearing it mentioned in a podcast. I was resistant because it was subtitled and that requires some extra work by the viewer. Very quickly you forget i was reading subtitles. The characters (which are many) are so well fleshed out. If you plan to go ahead and read the following three books like I did, pay attention to the relationships. These people all remain in each other's lives for 60 years. I even made a diagram. It is addictive.
I'm at the end of The Story of the Lost Child. When I'm done I'm going to start at the beginning again.
