Salaakar had the ingredients to be a gripping series or film, but poor casting and amateurish direction drag it down entirely. The most baffling choice? Mouni Roy-a performer whose limited acting range sticks out like a sore thumb. Her delivery is wooden, and she fails to elevate even the simplest scenes.

The rest of the cast doesn't fare much better, with mismatched actors struggling to salvage weak direction. The plot (if there's a coherent one) gets lost in unconvincing performances and a lack of visual flair.

Verdict: A forgettable mess that could've been decent with a stronger cast and competent filmmaking. Skip it.

Sitaare Zameen Par tries to replicate that emotional pull-but with a different premise (adapted from Campeones). Unfortunately, the execution falls flat, making it feel like just another feel-good sports drama without the depth or originality needed to stand out.

Aamir Khan, usually known for his stellar performances, feels surprisingly off in this film. It's almost as if he has forgotten how to act, delivering a forced and unconvincing portrayal. His usual charm and intensity are missing, leaving his character feeling hollow.

Mistry is a poorly executed, half-hearted attempt at storytelling that fails on every level. The writing is amateurish, the performances are unconvincing, and the direction lacks any sense of vision or engagement. There is absolutely nothing worth praising-no gripping plot, no memorable characters, and certainly no entertainment value.

Ram Kapoor, delivers one of his worst performances here. He sleepwalks through his role with zero conviction, making his character utterly forgettable. Mona Singh, is completely miscast-her role doesn't suit her, and her performance feels forced and unnatural.

The dialogues are clunky, the pacing is sluggish, and the so-called "mystery" is neither intriguing nor well-executed.

The series feels like a rushed, low-effort project with weak dialogues with predictable twists.

A complete waste of time. Don't bother.
