If you dont even know the difference between Pretoria, Cape Town and Robin Island then im afraid I cant take you or your movie seriously. Further more if you cared at all about the subject matter you would have shot it in South Africa and gotten proper guidance on the subject matter. This film is done in poor taste and only serves to divide my country men even more with the lies in this film. Mr Radcliffe how did you get suckered in to this poor excuse for a film ?
Although I dont have a problem Mackie I personally lost all interest in watching the seconds season ..... I doubt im alone in this and predict this season wont do well based on that fact alone. As the new saying goes, get woke go broke.....Personally im sad that Netflix is choosing to go down this route. If this trend continues I fear that the only course of action will be to cancel my subscription and sign up elsewhere.

This movie has almost none of the heart the books had, first off you're thrown into the movie head first, certainty not like the book. The movie resembles almost none of the character building that Mr King does so well in the books.
Looking at this I cant feel that hey tried to push a saga of multiple great books into a hour and a half and there by completely rushing the story and losing the plot. Its kike someone trying to tell the whole of Star Wars in a hour and a half.
As it stand its merely an average sci- fi movie at best.
Idris Alba is a wonderful actor but as those who have read the books not at all what Mr King had in mind and it spoiled the movie for me even more.
If this is what we have to look forward to in the future when people try to do screen adaptations from MR King works, ide rather them stay books.
