  • Wow! What a movie!

I sat in the cinema alone, having just came out of a screening of The Apprentice. I had read some quite negative stuff about this sequel but went in with an open mind.

There was probably 7 of us in the theatre.

I sat there absolutely invested within 10 minutes. Joaquin's performance (singing included) is fantastic (as is Lady ga ga's).

I implore people to watch this with an open mind as it is a movie in it's own right!.

As other people have already stated, this is a movie about Aurther Fleck & his trial for the murders he committed as 'Joker'.

This delves in to Aurther's mental health & whether on not he has multiple personality disorder? Or not?.

The songs are good & supporting cast (Brendan Gleeson etc) are also really good!

  • Fantastic!

This, (like the movie before it) is absolutely brilliant!. The acting, the story, the characters, in fact everything about this is perfect. I only wish there was more!. Please make a second series.

Like others have said, The BBC need to concentrate on spending our money on this kind of drama. Not all these ridiculous re-runs etc.

My partner has just watched the original movie (after be banging on about it for well over a year!) She absolutely loved it and can't wait to catch me up on the series as I have decided to leave the last two episodes so we can watch them together. I was so hard not to just binge them in one sitting!.

  • Very very good until....

    Season 4!

We started this from the beginning the other week. We had seen it on TV for years but had never watch it. It started really well & seemed to get better & better, brilliant characters & really funny episodes. Until season 4 then it became unwatchable!, They had everyone queuing up to be in it as it really was classic British humour, but like many before it & no doubt many after it, the writing got lazy & predictive, I bet some of the cast probably got greedy & were promptly written out of the show. People on here who loved it fro the start & still love it.... I am happy for you but, the stupid new characters & ridiculous storylines killed it dead for me!. I am gutted as I was loving it.
