I think the movie was pretty good and really highlights Marlon Wayans ability as an actor. This is his iconic style and he has been doing this for years so it's about whether you enjoy it or not. We do need to realise movies cannot be compared that easily. You can't compare 'Forrest Gump' to 'As good as it Gets' both in their own a masterpiece. Similarly a movie like this caters to a totally different audience who are looking for something different. I by no means am comparing this with the Tom Hanks and Jack Nicholson classic but saying the ratings usually are not the true reflection of a movie. I would definitely urge people to watch this, as it contains drama, comedy and emotions.
It's a masterpiece in every sense. Brilliant story line with well scripted scenes. All the actors have done justice with their characters. The movie is around 2 and a half hour but it seemed much less and throughout the movie you don't loose concentration as all the scene are very well directed.
It's a very poorly scripted film. The film lacks in all departments specially direction. The story line isn't intriguing with poor buildup and incoherant scenes. Alot of characters seem purposeless with no focus on their roles. TBH it's one of the worst romantic movies ever. I think the team thought theyll just cast a young couple, add some romantic scenes with a few comic parts and they'll be able to pull off a romantic masterpiece. The film was around 1 hour 40 mins but it seemed like a 2 and half hour film.
