The movie is dumb and disappointing. Shia LeBouf did a commendable job but his character in the film was extremely annoying.
There was barely any plot and the director didn't bother fleshing out any of the characters. All the characters were one dimensional. I watched this movie with zero expectations and yet I ended up disappointed. The ending sucked.
The only redeeming quality of this film was Mads Mikkelson. Sadly he was given barely any screen times.
The direction is poor and lacks imagination. The story is cliched but literally zero twists. The acting is average but the poor character development and depth only makes the whole show annoying. Uncle six was the only character with any kind of depth and that too was not a lot. The director had so many back stories to play around with but he choose to ignore them, only giving the viewers a basic briefing into the characters reasoning resulting in characters becoming unappealing and to certain extent illogical.
Though the story line is cliched, it still had a lot of possibilities which remained unexplored. Overall it felt like it the series was moving too slowly and yet at the same time it felt that the director was rushing through the story to complete it.
