The style and flow of the film are brilliant. After watching the film, I was confused to why it had only a six rating. I can only assume that it is because of the ending. The ending itself added an extra star for me. It left you with so many questions, and grasping for the answers. At first, I felt a little cheated and disappointed, until I realized the ending is the answer to all of our questions, Leth included. The answer is that there is no answer. There is no answer to why we are here, to what our purpose is. We are all bounded to the uncertainty of every day life. We do not know if the path we created is the correct one. For the theme of the film, I believe the ending was icing on the cake. The emotion that I felt is somewhat comparable to the emotion that Leth was going through his entire life. Is there more? Is this it? Did I miss something? The feeling in life where you feel overwhelmingly underwhelmed. That feeling is what I believe the film was about.

This movie was by far the craziest i've ever seen. I understand why people give it a low review but the movie is very good and well thought out. After a slow start the movie will have you shockingly glued to the tv. It shows things your mind cant truly visualize in a unpredictable way. If you can get past the disturbing nature and gore of the film (which is purposely almost impossible) the story line and the acting are pretty good. Even the young actors, it is very hard to see how this flim wouldnt have a lasting impact on the rest of their lives. It definitely will be an unforgettable film for me. One theme or phrase a main character would say is "this is cinema". It was definitely cinema at the highest and darkest level. Your eyes glued, emotions flowing, and will leave an impression.

Everything in this movie is purposely meant to throw you off. From the music to the characters. Its a vibe.
