I don't normally right reviews as filmmaking is hard and people just love to hate now a days. But this was so irritatingly bad it drove me to write this. This is beyond bad filmmaking and after hearing some of the behind the scenes drama, i'm convinced this was about money laundering and not even close to being about filmmaking. Forget the cinematography/shot design, writing, and directing of course being bad... But even the post production was dismal. The foley was a laughable cut and paste job, clearly grabbing the first sound that semi worked. The world was dead and empty with little to no ambiences. The dialogue edit was atrocious. Every edit decision was unbelievably strange, apparently the editor/director aren't interested in J/L Cuts and are only interested in run time. It's like no one involved has ever seen an actual movie. After hearing (sure hearsay) they only shot for 9 days and Stallone was there for one day... I'm convinced EFO and Grindstone should be looked at for money laundering. What a waste.

First of all, Cosmos is a masterclass on low budget high production value. It's awesome seeing what they talk about from a whole new view scape. Yes it's not paced to the best of it's ability and some time could be cut out easily, but once things finally kick off, it's actually a great Flick with some heart pounding scenes. They have obvious influences and wanted to set a tone based on those influences, and I think they nailed it. Definitely worth a watch especially for any space lovers.
