I knew it was going to be good, Mr. Rylance would not attach his name to just anything.
Mark Rylance was playing chess while the rest of cast tried to keep up. Every scene he was in he dominated the screen & the simple but elegant set.
I want to see it again just to see what I might have missed the first time.

I wasn't excited to see this movie, but thought it might be good. NOPE
It was a watered down long boring episode of the Sopranos.

I recently "discovered" The Detectorists & I love it. It's hard finding something new & engaging to watch during this nightmare called Covid. I have rewatched so many great series, but was looking for something new. Mackenzie Crook created some really interesting & quirky characters. I feel like I could know these people. They are real people which is always better.
My only complaint is I want more.
