Halo 2 is one of the best games i have ever played. This game was highly praised by critics, so when i went to get it at a local game store. I just couldn't say a Word. It's that good, while in the beginning, i was meh over it. It's just that good.
The story is nothing special. It follows where Combat Evolved left off. Master Chief is back and a New character Arbiter is sent to get tortured due to not being a member of the Covenant. Master Chief is sent on a mission to defeat the Covenant and go through all Halo's. The ending by all means was terrible. IT WAS A CLIFFHANGER FOR GODS SAKE.
The gameplay is a first-person-shooter where you Control Master Chief and Arbiter as both must track Down their own each set of races: Covenant and Flood. The Graphics look Incredible, it's detail and character animations is outstanding. The Controls are tight and responsive. The Arbiter Gameplay was good and bad. The problem With Arbiter's gameplay is the lack of human weapons in the first Level, and it's boring enemies. However, i like it's fast-paced shooting segments, gun selection and Challenge. However, the campaign was short and took me 5 days to Complete. The campaign is Worth it.
I haven't tried the multiplayer, but i did try a bit, it was amazing...nuff said....
Halo 2 is a improvement to the original. Better Graphics, gameplay, multiplayer and campaign (the campaign in Halo 1, was OK), Controls and gun selection like dual-wielding weapons. However, Arbiter stages were boring from time to time, but this game is recommended for anyone who liked the original, like me.
