Ok so people think because Denzel Washington is in the movie that it's just automatically a great movie. I think he's a great actor too but this movie is not.
When you spend the entire movie wondering what the heck is going on, waiting for something to finally come together or be explained, then get to the end and even have more questions, that's a disappointment. Who knows? Maybe if you watch the movie with closed captions and don't actually miss 70% of the dialogue it might make more sense but I sure wouldn't waste my time to find out.
There are a lot of in depth reviews on here so I won't go over it all but my opinion is that if I watched this movie for free I would have been disappointed with wasting over 2 hours of my time so paying to see it at a theatre made it even worse. The creepy character played by Leto was amusing but definitely not enough to warrant sitting through the entire movie.

Firstly, I despise sitcoms and most other "comedies" out there. I just happened upon this show browsing through titles and I found it absolutely hilarious! I watched it from start to finish all in one night.
Just the facial expressions on all of the characters- even the minor ones, made me laugh. Smart, smart, funny comedy. The only downside to it was that it ended so soon.

Incredible documentary. Actually seeing people speaking the truth and exposing the food industry is so fulfilling. I applaud every one of those people who have a conscience and are more worried about protecting our children and future generations than filling their pockets with our new God, Money.
I laughed so hard at the part where they replaced the "Half the fat" label with "Double the sugar", it reminds me of super markets who make bigger shopping carts and brand them as "for your shopping convenience" rather than, "So you can buy more stuff and we can make more money."
My only regret with this movie is that I didn't see it 30 years ago. I've heard for years about how bad sugar is for you and not to drink pop and always shrugged it off. Sometimes you have to see a documentary like this for it to really sink in. I already know who I'm giving my last bag of sugar to.
A huge THANK YOU! to the creators of this movie from this parent.
