Here's a rephrased version of the text:
The legal system often claims justice is its ultimate goal, with the law acting as a tool to achieve it. But what happens when the system itself fails to deliver justice for the innocent by stating that it is following the letter of law only?
This film follows a lawyer who prioritizes justice above all else, who treats law and his profession of being a lawyer as nothing more than a means to achieve that substantial justice. He believes the law is just a means to an end, and that end is a fair outcome. However, his belief often clash with the judge's strict adherence to the letter of the law - the precise wording of legal codes rather than the spirit of the law.
The film ends on a thought-provoking question: does the criminal justice system truly consider the truth before reaching a verdict?

I cried during and after watching the movie.
The movie is very crisp and hard hitting. One of the best films made on partition. There will be strong scenes in between the film that will strike the hardest. Very beautifully crafted, outstanding acting by Pankaj Kapoor & all the cast and a tremendous direction.
The people from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh will never forgive the people who were involved in the partition for their own greed for power,

The movie revolves around a suicidal American teenager Craig. Craig is suicidal because of various social elements and pressure to achieve big in life. Due to this, he lands up in a psychiatric hospital where he lives for 5 days and gets almost rejuvenated thereafter.
The movie makes you feel inspired to live a desired and a positive approached life. The movie indirectly tells to find the happiness in small things. It has various special quotes that will work wonders if you'll think about it and later implement it. My favorite quote from the movie is, "God, grant me the strength to change the things I can, courage to accept the things I can't and wisdom to know the difference."
