The movie were a sick old man falls in love with a fourteen year old was disgusting a bit weird and creepy.
Joan Fountane was not the one to play the part of an ingenue. She did not look like a fourteen year old, her voice sounded very grating and irritating, when she'd try to portray the movements of a young girl while running or skipping she clumsily lumbered along with much grace as a drunken sailor. She was a terrible choice for the part of a kid who in reality looked every minute of a 26yr old. Which reminded me when James Arness played the part of a young playful preteen, again lumbering along with gangly leg movements, the movie; 'Stars in My Crown.' Absolutely shocking!

It was entirely too long because the scenes never seemed to change. The killing had become too repetitious, from one scene to the next. Well, I suppose that's what kept the momentum going. There were a lot of interesting scenes that kept you curious enough to want to continue watching and another thing was that the baby looked nothing like its mother, it was as if the mother kidnapped someone else's child. That's where things appeared to be too illogical when initially I thought the big Indian woman was trying to protect her offspring from the White woman. Oh, well Hollywood.
Overall the movie was quite intriguing to continue to watch. Good movie!

Was this supposed to be a Christian movie? The Church Girl? What? She certainly did not exemplify the usual cliché "I'm a woman of God." That was almost the very first thing which came out of her mouth. I didn't see redemption in any of this. I believe Hollywood needs to leave religious movies alone, because they never are true to the real God of the Bible.
