By the poster you can probably tell that this film draws influence from the horror flicks of the 70's and 80's and does so in the best way possible. I kept waiting for the late Sid Haig to pop up in a cameo. I think if he were still around he probably would. That being said, it's an indie horror film with legit suspense a creepy vibe and actual scares. Definitely work a watch.
There are a lot of zombies around (especially in the indie space) unfortunately most are just a cash grab that don't offer much in more that blood and gore. However this one feels true and honest in it's approach to the genre. Plus its a well crafted film that is actually scary. Imagine that, a scary zombie movie... who would have thought. George Romero would be proud, definitely worth checking out.
This is a very touching film that stirs up many emotions when watching. The director treated both the subject and the subject matter with great care, honesty and passion. Definitely an emotional film and one you shouldn't miss.
