I bumped it to a 7 because of all the ones who gave it a 5. In my opinion, it was a thoroughly watchable movie for a family night.
We visited Greece on a 25th Anniversary trip awhile back and it was reminiscent to my wife and I of the trip - a 10-day excursion with two legs on the old Easy Cruise. This after reading an article titled "This is not your Grandfather's cruise line" telling all about on the cover of The NY Times online in 2007.
The way I'd describe that experience was like this - imagine a tug boat refitted with modules, all equipped with a glass see-through bathroom component and two hard slabs, each with a 3" roll up sleeping mat. The dining facilities on board was akin to a 24-hour Denny's that serves delicious food with service just as good. Priced reasonably, about like a Denny's at home, actually.
The real charm of the trip though, was the way the boat popped around between the lesser known islands. They'd pulled into port around 4-5 a.m. Most days and allow you to roam that particular island on your own until about 2 a.m., at which time the boat shortly after set sail for the next island excursion, and each day was a different island experience. Filled with great local food, truly rich cultural experiences on the various islands, and ancient buildings you could just imagine them as they existed over a millennia or more ago. And some several millennia ago.
Thank you, Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, for bringing a great Greek experience important in our lives back to be experienced again through your film.
Opa!
Big thumbs up!

I was entertained from start to finish. The no name actors in this one deliver realistic performances and bring just the right amount of believability to their parts to have me immersed in the story right beside them.
The low budget special effects, while they could be better, do not detract from the story one bit I hope the producers are able to put together the funds for Magellan 2-The Oort Horizon.
The school quality actors who deliver the dialogue in this epic tale almost succeed in turning a dismal period of U.S. history into comedy as they converse with each other.
Watch it the next time you are dealing with insomnia. It might just become your favorite sleep aid.
