The acting is fantastic as well as the locations. I think the writing was very good and shed light on a variety of perceptions of Heaven and Hell. The concept of death is explored here with some interesting possibilities. S
Some episodes were teary eyed and interwoven with comedy and funny sarcasm. The scenes with a trip to hell are comical adding a modern version of how you get to both realms. Everyone always wonders if our pets make it to heaven since they are innocent of wrong doing. The rainbow bridge shows pets coming across the bridge taking human form till their masters finally pass on. Those actors that portrayed dogs and cats and going through several different training classes to understand heaven are hilarious. Most of the K-dramas lately do not have decent endings but this series finality ends with some answers for the characters. The scenes in Hell are tastefully done with great sarcasm and comical wit. This is definitely a tv series to watch. Of course the Korean gals are all beautiful as expected.
As an American, I love Korean K-Dramas. As with this film, a decent story line but moves very slow for American standards. However ! The filming, locations and the actors are always excellent. These films show us the basic culture and differences especially with relationships. The film was progressing but it did not clear up the interactions by the couples in the last 2 episodes. Listen, I realize the Koreans do not express themselves as openly as other cultures but we are talking beautiful S. Korean women with hair like the Sirens in Greek mythology. The Korean actors need to step up their approach to some of the most beautiful women in the world and tell them how they feel. The men and women in these dramas all hold back and the endings as this film are proof.
Wife and I liked it. Storyline is def a K-drama but moves too slow and both leads are not direct enough. I believe from my readings on Korean culture, this non direct form of communication is typical but the younger generation getting away from it. Let's bring in some real men from the USA. I don't care if it's the hot tempered lead, her paramedic gf or her male pal from grade school, his ex gf. I'd tell each one they are gorgeous and I'd marry each one of them. Personally, Chou's ex is more my style. Attractive, tall, long Korean hair and better figure and is the most sane of the rest of the women actors. However, I love these K-dramas.
