A thought provoking film that covers a very delicate topic, which most of us find uncomfortable.- Death.
A far fry from the happy, make believe bollywood films we are so used to.
The actors, I must say have done justice to a well written story and script.
My advice is - give the film a fair chance and give it a go. Sit with a box of tissues tho. At the end it will put a smile on your face.
This coming of age, yet simple story is excellently written and amazingly executed.
As a non Marathi speaker I can say that Marathi cinema is so underrated. Many More people need to watch films like these. You don't know what you're missing.
Konkan is beautiful in the rain, and as was most of the film - great dialogues beautiful locations and great sound, but I think they rushed the end a bit. Should've added 20 more minutes just to give justice to the ending.
Nonetheless, a lovely film all in all.
