Dallas Buyers Club throws you straight into the deep end, with no floats. They don't dance around the facts, and reality hits you hard. Matthew McConaughey slims down to an incredible size for this role and plays his part with huge conviction. The story tells of a man who goes to hospital for a work related injury, to be told he has HIV. Doctors tell him he has 30 days to live, but in denial takes no notice of the warning. Finally, he comes around to his disease and finds AZT is the only drug that can prolong his life, he goes in search for it it Mexico. Jared Leto plays an amazing supporting role, as a Transgender patient also with HIV. Fantastic direction, but will definitely not be appreciated for its full potential by some, because of the nature of the film.
If you are going to compare Taken 2 with the first film, you may be disappointed. Only because the first film, was ridiculously good. But I thought, I will watch the second to see where they might of gone with it. I personally didn't find it boring, I believe it still had great action and real threat, which is what you want. I do feel that Liam Neeson is undefeatable in any way possible, and therefore you know he isn't in any REAL danger, but because of this it gives for great fight sequences. I am glad that they didn't completely destroy the name of Taken, even though it was slightly weak in the sense that escaping or defeating enemies was easier than it should be.
Understandably, I know why audiences may be angry or let down because it matches nowhere near the class or capability of its potential. But, treat it as a wrap up film, for the first and you can enjoy the fast paced action ride that is Taken 2.

Normally I stay away from drug related films, as I don't understand it all too much. But seeing as the film had Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston in, I thought I'd give it ago. I was surprised to say the least, and impressed because it wasn't what I thought. Will Poulter created a perfect socially awkward Kenny Miller and Jason Sudeikis really kicked it up a gear. I found it hilarious from start to finish, as the plot unveiled the storyline became clearer. It was honestly a great movie, and I found myself laughing 85% of the time, with a great cast but simple enough storyline, the film delivered on many levels. Must see movie, even if you just watch Jennifer Aniston.
