Look, yeah it is a kids movie with a pretty basic story line but the main songs throughout the movie show that effort and money has not been spared when producing them. Not sure why the low score but uo there out of all the barbie movies.
No special effects are needed or big Hollywood budgets, the smart jokes and professional story writing is all this needs to keep you entertained. The writers using recurring gags with family members make this a timeless classic, it could of ran for 18 seasons and never grow tired.
