After reading mixed reviews and watching this movie a good week after the release date , I finally have my say.
We absolutely loved the movie. A little predictable but at least they didn't drag a boring story out . Straight to the point! My wife said it was the best movie she's seen this year.
Beautiful colours , amazing effects. I'm a hard core sci-fi fan and this movie hit all the right spots for me personally.
Please go support the movie and go see it at your local cinema . Gareth Edwards knows how to make a great movie , very happy for him after the treatment he received at Disney

I've been so fed up of going to the cinema lately and feeling so let down by all this wokeness .
Finally I've seen a new movie tht just concentrates on being a movie. No BS, just a straight up action movie. Some nostalgia too.
Absolutely loved the movie. I was afraid with the run time that myself and my wife might get tired but the time flew by. Wifey also loved it without even seeing the original Top Gun.
Tom cruise is the last action hero. Say what you want about his beliefs , he makes proper Hollywood movies.

Took me 3 episodes to write this. The chilled guy in me wants to enjoy it , but it looks and feels so amateurish. The sets are awful , acting is ok ish, dialogue sucks.
There's too much to mention as to why I don't like it ! I can watch it , but it's not re watchable! It is a full on fan made movie. Low budget , bad acting
This series will age so badly. Just like The Book or boba fett, they are ruining the OT characters. Breaking lore. It's just very very weak.
