The rejected is an independent Turkish short film. Its genre is horror but I see it more like a thriller. Although it is a short film it takes its audience inside of the movie and it is not an easy task to do it only in 8 minutes. The Rejected's soundtrack and voices' are very good for small budget independent short movie. Its most important aspect is showing rather than telling approach. It is obviously inspired from cult classic Child's play movie but it tries to tell in its own way. After the audience saw the movie which is free to watch from the Director's own youtube channel(check Onur Dogan on youtube) then they probably interpret it. Because there are ambiguous parts for example motivation of our protagonist a.k.a. Woman or the baby's purpose are open the audience's interpretation. Of course there are some downsides about the short movie for instance Cgi is not very good but it acceptable for an independent short movie. And it is not appropriate for very young audience like children. Apart from these downsides it is a bold and a good good attempt for independent short horror/thriller movie.
Personally, I want to see more independent short films with this kind of quality and effort and I want to congratulate the director Onur Dogan to try such a bold approach on his project. Although he knew his budget is not enough for this kind of project, he accomplished to execute a decent independent short movie.

Top guns fans were waiting this movie more than two decades and finally cinema goers can experience it at cinema. First of all, I can say that I'm not a big fan of the Top gun in fact I watched first movie around 5 years ago but it was a good movie for me overall. I always appreciated first movie's stunts with aircrafts so my only expectation from the sequel was getting similar stunts.
I have satisfied with stunts and flying sequences in the air plus Hans Zimmer works as a composer in this movie what can you expect more because Tom Cruise is the lead actor too. Maverick's struggle after losing his best friend in the first movie continues in a way he is traumatized with the incident and this emotional weigh still haunts him so you can easily feel Maverick and Goose's bond. Maverick still feels responsible for Goose's family on the other hand, Maverick has some personal struggles too but his priorities change when he was sent to Top Gun school again as an instructor. The Story is a nice straightforward a success story mixed up with some amazing images. There is one more thing I want to mention Ice character could easily has been killed off because of Val Kilmer's real life health issues but he has been included in to cast and his presence elevated the movie without his scenes my satisfaction could be decrease.
There are so little things to speak about the movie negatively but if the enemy country could be specified as a real country it could be a little better but the movie still works fine the way it is. In the 1st Top Gun movie rivalry in the Top Gun school was more effective but the sequel is okay too. Some characters like Maverick's love interest in the 1st movie has been completely removed from the sequel too.
Some characters like Maverick's love interest in the 1st movie has been completely removed from the sequel . Although it is understandable there could have been mentioned the love interest. We can understand that the relationship didn't work but having a small explanation could have been better Briefly, Top Gun Maverick is a very good movie whether you're a fan of the 1st movie or not. I suggest to everyone who likes the action genre to see it at a cinema. It's worth it but before you see it make sure to see the 1st one if you haven't seen it yet.

Batman is a movie that makes me feel confused because it is a good movie generally but not as great as Batman Trilogy. Let's put aside comparisons with the other Batman movies for now.
First of all, Matt Reeves' realistic approach to the movie is very suitable because we have seen the same approach from Nolan. After that, All superhero movies changed it is very wise to use Nolan's approach again. I know Reeves from The Apes series and I like very much the atmosphere of the series but the pace issues were very obvious in that series. I had same doubts before I went to the Batman movie because the movies' screen time is nearly 3 hours. In the end, I can say that I didn't get bored apart from a few scenes in the second half of the movie so pacing is not a big issue in the Batman movie.
When it comes to the performances Robert Pattinson gave a good performance as Batman but he was not so convincing as Bruce Wayne briefly he is a good choice for the role. I want to tribute Paul Dano because he gave one of the best performances as Riddler and his role is very important for the whole movie. He has clear motivations to challenge our hero and Dano's characterization of Riddler as a serious psycho also is very convincing. Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman is also very convincing because we can learn her motivations clearly but I didn't like some addings to her background story. Catwoman's relationship with Batman and the the other characters make sense however Anne Hattaway is still my favorite Catwoman. I must say that Kravitz's Catwoman is more closer to comics as far as I checked and this movie in a way an origin story to Catwoman however I didn't like some parts of it still it is one of the best decisions made by the director. Jeffrey Wright is good as Gordon but don't even compare it to Gary Oldman's Gordon. Colin Farrel is very good and convincing as Penguin but his screen time is very little in this movie. In the sequel, I want to see him more(probably). I didn't find convincing John Turturo as Carmine Falcone his performance is mediocre maybe his performance is not good enough because of the screenplay. I am not sure but he doesn't seem a powerful crime boss at all. My biggest disappointment is Alfred because I know Andy Serkis is a great actor but we can barely see him in the movie . I think Reeves must give Andy Serkis more space and lines to shine in the next movie(probably).
Briefly, Batman is a good movie however it is nearly 3hrs it doesn't bore you mostly. It explains how Batman shapes his morals in his early years. Its realistic dark tone is very suitable for the movies' story. Although many positive points, some characters like Alfred should be handled better and screen time could have been decreased around 15 minutes to accelerate pacing a little bit more. The characterization of Bruce Wayne is not so much convincing. This movie is nowhere near Nolan's movies so don't even try to compare it any movie in the trilogy. It's worth seeing the movie at the cinema.
P.s.: After the ending don't wait too much for the post-credits because it doesn't worth it.
