This isn't a 6 star movie. I have to believe that ironically people have given this a lower rating because of a woman lead in the military. It's a good story, good action, not the best military movie , but being a vet I enjoyed it. It's almost 30 years old and ahead of its time. A nice break from the typical military movies. It did seem slow at some parts, especially building up in the beginning but some scenes are particularly intense, especially the Sere training scene. While it may not portray exactly what military goes through, especially SF, it's still somewhat indictive of what happens in training.

I liked the first two venom movies. This movie was abysmal but it seems to be the marvel way. Milk these franchises as much as you can even if it means ruining a once fun series. This was an extremely forced, unfun movie and wish I never watched it. These comic book movies have the same kind of formula and it gets old but for some reason people still pay to watch this stuff. I do hope this is the last of venom because as bad as this one was I can only imagine what they would do for another movie. Instead of taking their time with movies and franchises these companies try to milk a stone if it would give them an extra buck. Despicable.

A lot of people won't like this movie since it has an anti religious aspect to it but it's an excellent movie. I like Hugh grant and I have to say this is one of his best acted movies in his career. He was really great in it. If I have to give a criticism about the movie is that certain parts were predicable and the ending felt rushed and some parts didn't make sense, but overall it's a very fulfilling movie. It's not a horror movie by any stretch but definitely has a lot of scenes where it makes you tense not knowing what's going to happen next. It's a movie that uses the audience against themselves.
