Another home run for each of these actors and the director. The movie's plot is about two childhood friends who happen to come across each other at a funeral. Little did David Packouz (Teller), a shy penny-earning massage therapist, know that this reunion with his "old school bro" would take to an extreme turnaround in his life. Efraim Divoreli (Hill) is presented to us as the fun, unconcerned, know-it-all and living the "life" type of guy. Though roles do seem to flip as the flick goes on. We get a taste of how our ambition and desire of always wanting more and more can sometimes strike back. These two young men, after just hitting a few bowls and some small business affairs in Efraim's office, turn into the up-and-coming hotshots in the Arms Trade. Eventually expanding their business, AEY, and becoming a "big deal" but run into problems as greed starts to kick in, testing how far they are really willing to go so that they can get their hands on that long-desired prize. It's not all fun and games when your in the big leagues. The film is funny, dramatic and has a Wolf of Wall Street vibe to it. The acting by these two gentlemen, especially Hill is superb. Just can't help not to laugh with this guy. Teller did an awesome job fitting the smart and sensible role, giving us the counterpart. Music throughout the movie was very good and fit in great. Give it a watch, it's worth your while.

After having seen the trailer for this flick, I think many can relate to the feeling that we were going to witness a wannabe 2016 version of "Disturbia". But, to our surprise, this brings a different approach on that "scary, murder-looking neighbor" theme. It's fresh, suspenseful and definitely keeps you always wondering on what that old man really is up to and how these two knuckleheads are keeping things under control, but were they really? The acting by Miller and Gilchrist is good, although nothing out of the ordinary. Kudos to Caan for living up to his name, he really did a good job of pursuing this character. The music throughout the whole film was definitely on point and was to me a very nice touch. Overall, the movie is pretty solid. Give it a watch, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

The movie itself was quite good and I think that it lives up to a 7.5 star rating. Now, as said before I enjoyed the film but do understand that for many (Including myself) it can be seen as a little to slow...Until arriving to the climax, which is absolutely great! The thing is, that we need to understand what this movie is really trying to portray. Its showing us the crude reality of how heartless and dehumanizing humanity can be through the eyes of Cole (Kristen Stewart) who starts to see how harsh things are and as said in the movie "it's not all so black and white". Kristen Stewart's acting was good but nothing out of the ordinary... I have to say that Maddi's performance was very good and really interprets the character by truly reflecting what Ali was feeling and displaying his desperation of having been in Guantanamo Bay for 8 years. To sum it up, the movie is good and quite the worthwhile. Be patient at the beginning cause it gets better and better as it progresses.'
