  • Fallen franchise

I managed to get through 20 minutes of this monumental piece of garbage. Thank God I recorded it instead of paying actual money to be so insulted. It has become pretty obvious that '3' is the magic number. Every franchise that has gone beyond that has delivered unmitigated crap (and in some cases, only 2 of those 3 are any good) - Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Avengers - the list goes on. Only 007 seems to have avoided that (to a limited degree), and recent news about Bond signals the probable end of that one as well.

Hollywood has always wanted to make money - the approach was to produce good movies that would do well at the box office. With a very few exceptions, that is no longer the case ...no need to make 'good' movies in the traditional sense, since there are two full generations that have NO clue what is good (as long as it's loud, with insipid dialog). Not even worth free TV. Avoid !!!!

  • SciFi meets DEI

NOPE - the answer to "Should I watch this?" Any rating above a 4 is virtue signaling at its finest.

The screechy female 'lead' is just Chris Tucker with boobs (sort of). A plot (sort of) thinly disguised as social commentary about the film/entertainment industry - one that has given Jordan Peele far more opportunities than he deserves (given the crap he has turned out recently).

This stinker really rates a zero, but IMDB insists on a positive integer. The '1' is my metaphor for a middle finger Peele, and to all the imbeciles here giving this tripe high scores.

Stay away from this unless you have insomnia - it will numb you faster than Propophol.
