This movie shows two different realities that unfortunately we go through in an everyday base in one of the most important cities in our country. Firstly the war between factions and the police in the slums with constant gun-powered confrontations, then the hard life of doctors in constant stress and lack of staff and materials necessary to supply the high demand of patients and medical procedures in emergency rooms. That's why I said that the movie is interesting by the wrong reasons, if these situations weren't real, there would be no need for this movie to exist, but since it's real it's good to show that the slum wars are there and that the doctors do everything they can with the little that they have. And it also shows that choices have to be made. Whose life is most important, the cop that is stable but risky? the drug-dealer who's unstable and almost dead? or the child who's in shock and in need of immediate surgery? Hard decisions and the movie shows it. The acting is not great, that's why it's a six instead of a 7.
