It's poorly written Chinese version of Avatar show. It started really good and watched first 7 episodes at once but It quickly turned from action to love story and became very boring. Acting was also not good only the fire power kid had some expressions on his face. Rest of the cast felt like reading dialogues and forgot to act. Story is just all over the place. I have not read the book but the show is definitely not good. I really don't understand the need to making every Chinese show romantic even though it doesn't add any value to it and make show boring and slow. To sum it up I couldn't watch it post 11th episode and had to drop it because I was too bored.

I don't know what the fuss is all about but this drama is just okay. All the main lead did was to cry cry and cry some more. He was too annoying at points that I wished his character was killed off. Yes work/VFX and acting was good but the story was unnecessary long. It could have been finished in only 8 episodes. They just wasted so many episodes for MC to cry.

MC's powers ups were such a waste and wasn't even explained why that happened except one line from wi-gen.

Honestly I kind of fast forwarded most of the scenes. Too boring for me.

P. S. My rating is entirely based on season 1 as I have not watched watched 2nd season yet.

It was bearable for few episodes but then it became a drag. I had to fast forward most of the scenes because they were way to boring specially whenever both the female leads showed up...they were so annoying I prayed so many times they died. All Tie xinlan did was cry cry and then cry some more. Hua wuqua never used his head. Other male lead was bit funny then started getting annoying. He was not as smart as he claimed to be. Nantian greatest swordsman couldn't even use his head when he faced 5 ghosts. I had to ignore so many things and until the end I wasn't sure who was paired up with whom. To some up it's not worth the time just fast forward the series and you will still understand the story.

Yes the scenery was beautiful but fight sequences were not up to the mark except the first fight where jiang feng fought.
