This police drama was intended I believe to be a competitor for The Bill/
Sadly they missed the formula which worked so well for The Bill.
That was 60% police actions of one kind or another, 30% administrative grumbles and problems and the remaining 10% romance in one form or another.
This, on the other hand is INCREDIBLY heavy in administrative drama and problems...to the point where I began to fast-forward through the lengthy boredom.
Personal and romantic issues takes up the next largest portion of the alloted time followed by a too-small segment of real police wortk, be it boring or exciting.
How this garnered 8 out of 10 is well beyond me and I think, compared to the few great ones out there, it's actually worth about a 5 or 6.
Worth a watch but keep the FF button close at hand.

Firstly, I'm not defending Temu or its products.
That withstanding, let's at least be commonsensically honest.
As my dad said to me MANY years ago..." You get what you pay for." The woman 'investigator' buys a carabiner, which is a bit out of purpose for the average woman.
She then buys an aluminum one, something which nobody even casually familiar with them would ever do.
They need to be made of hardened steel if they are going to be used for any serious application.
This would be OK to hang your keys from your purse, but nobody with a functioning brain would trust anything important to it.
Similarly the baby carrier.
Why beat up Temu for selling a poorly rated item. Nobody stop some moron from trying to lubricate their engine with canola oil.
Stupid people buy stupid stuff, imagining that expensive products are not better....just more expensive.
Caveat Emptor.
You have to buy with the understanding that good quality ALWAYS comes with a premium price.....NO EXCEPTIONS!

OK, so I realized from the get-go that it was NEVER going to be as good as the original. Let's face it, we've moved on and dope is now legal so dope humour is not as relevant or amusing as it once was.
Never mind that though, let me move on to the REAL problems with this 'new' series.
Julian is SERIOUSLY a porker....no nice way to say it and he has trouble just waddling from scene to scene , never mind participating in any TPB antics.
Ricky, well he looks like 80'S used car salesman on a weekend pass to Florida.
Bubbles......loveable Bubbles looks like a tired old man just trying to cash in on the good old days.
Worst of all, worse even than this aging, crippled, tubby gang gangsta wannabeess, is the UNFORGIVABLY bad acting.
Seriously, have they all forgotten what acting is all about?
You're supposed to make me believe in you, not pity you like a stuttering high school actor first night in front of the audience.
At best this is for those fans who are most likely NOT the original fans, but more likely fans of the cartoon series. At least the acting is on a par with that.
SAD.
