So many good things about Peacemaker. I'm not a super hero movie fan. Absolutely dire stories with two dimensional characters and using special effects instead of good dialogue and story.
Peacemaker is none of that and fundamentally is NOT a super hero series. Know what it reminds me of? Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Peacemaker is character focussed, with excellent casting (every single one amhas an interesting and unique character, and funny characteristics). Indeed my favourite probably Economos who's simply a fat bearded middle aged man (though I also love Adrian). Peacemaket is excellently played by John Sena, as a sensitive though sometimes a bit dumb, 'hero' that is all too human. Very little of the story is about action, but the pacing is good, the humour consistent and original, and to be honest Season 2 episode 5 brought a tear to my eye at the end.
Just love the original story lines, and the interactions between the characters, with story arcs. Even the new characters in season 2 get interesting and unique personalities. Dann, even the Eagle is developing a background story.
Of course it's famous for one of hest intros ever made (in Season 1) which is also good, but not quite as polished for Season 2. Though the hunour and story, and story building, is just as good if not better in Season 2.
If you like a rag bag team that have their own personal problems working together despite their faults and only succeeding because deep down they care about each other, you'll love this. Great it doesn't tow the forced politically correct line, nor feels need to fight it.. simply a great great series. I'd say the worst thing is, I know one day the series will end and I'll miss it, but hopefully I will die before that day comes.

Overall I really enjoyed this film. Focused on a woman from a tiny town wanting to make it as an actor in the big city, but focus on film his her part time work at a clinic where they use a dream state to heal people.
Lead actress was very good, and the story didn't have a Hollywood feel but instead seemed to evolve organically. In this way, it was never boring or predictable. Didn't focus just on scifi/horror element, but also this girl's feeling of isolation and struggle. Also had some interesting relationship arcs though they weren't really fulfilled or concluded.
I get the point of the ending, and it is one of these ones that u can still wonder what is real or not real, but I think, despite being somewhat satisfying, the ending was less interesting than the rest of the film. All the same, I recommend this film to watch, and indeed an surprised doesn't get a higher rating. Won't stay with you, but is a good film and did deserve awards it got.

I guess many people now can sympathise with the premise of this film: a man fighting big government to keep his house and live as a human. He teaches his homeschooled son only in the ways government ignore individual rights.
I personally sympathise with this..though I'm UK born. I was charged for a free teacher training course that it was impossible to prevent paying for, because the government can take cash directly out of your salary even if you are in dispute. I fought the government for 4 years to legally bring my wife into the country under European freedom of movement. You realise when it comes to politics the government don't care about the law, and they can fight in the courts forever because they have endless tax payers cash. When my wife had depression and became violent, I tried to get help, and being a man authorities(social services) ignored police reports and photos (I'd been stabbed a couple of times) and considered me the problem. Absolutely no due process I'm sure many people are in my position of seeing how the law is empty because the authorities break the law, ignore the law and have made it extremely difficult for the average person to get justice. Indeed now I live off grid in Africa and finally feel some freedom. Indeed I never realised how absolutely crazy and ruthlessly controlling the UK is until I lived in Africa for a while.
So, this film is important. But it isn't exciting. Definitely slow burn. Feel like it's balanced cos this guy is definitely on the fringe and occasionally pushes into unacceptable territory, but it does tie in to something I'm sure many in the west feel today - the need to bow your head to oppressive government that isn't quite following the law.
