Ever since Solo, Ron Howard cannot direct

Critics loving this movie but it garbage. Plus studios are milking the presence of Sydney Sweeney but this movie cannot be saved.

Ron Howard has lost his ability to direct and like a lot of directors they are making movies they like and not what audiences want.

  • Fantastic Four or just two

I don't get critics, loving a movie should mean the movie is something worthy of the adoration but studios are putting out movies that are what they want not what audiences want.

Now I'll lay out the good, the bad and the ugly....

The good: Johnny & Ben were awesome and actually made the movie watchable. Both had charisma and had chemistry with each other. Also the movie was visually stunning.

The bad: Superhero movies should have action. This movie has about 25 minutes and that's it. Galactus & Silver Surfer are again wasted in the big screen.

The ugly: Reed Richards is awful. Pedro Pascal is the flavor of the month and studios are pushing him down our throats. So Reed is going to lead the avengers and remember he tried fooling a higher being with an empty carrier; moving on from Tony Starks cleverness for a character lacking charisma.

  • Horror hosts: lost entertainment

    This is amazing

Horror hosts once filled many stations and all of a sudden, a lost art

Kenosha is lucky to have a great life Dale Dr Destruction Wamboldt

Hopefully this comes back to embrace the So Bad That's Good aspect of horror

If you ask the public, the only response you get is Svengoli, the bloated and lazy host, and some good hosts neglected and not even acknowledged

Let's go back in time and embrace the horror host; especially the hard work and dedication they put out.

Documentaries like this are important...as YouTube and TikTok exploit the world; we need more of classical feel to tv.

  • Santa Claws needs to be trimmed

The Christmas tradition of watching horror holidays hits the wall with this crap

Filmed on shideo and acting as stale as Grandma's fruitcake, this movie is just trash

It's a fun watch with a bunch of friends celebrating the holidays but to watch it as a serious flick, this movie just doesn't deliver

Acting takes a backseat and the script must have been non-existent

It's low budget, so no one comes in expecting Casablanca but there have been other low budgeted movies that are at least entertaining

Watching this does wastes one's life but it needs to be experienced regardless. Imagine thinking it can't get worse then watching this and find out it can....ouch.

  • Sony is the real villain

Kraven the Hunter should have been an easy adventure type movie highlighting the ultimate anti-hero of the spiderverse, where he isn't necessarily evil.

The cast isn't bad the problem with this movie is the actual handling of Sony studios.

The movies story is boring which is a shame because Kraven is one of the most interesting characters.

The movie is ugly. The combo of bad CGI and terrible visuals makes this movie hard on the senses.

Editing.... similar to Madam Web's poor editing this movie falls prey to failing the basics.

Again, Sony studios is the biggest villain for the spiderverse.

  • First.... brilliant.....second .... unnecessary

Absolutely misses the feel of the original.

The fact something is made doesn't mean it was necessary.

    Style over substance

The first one had a compelling story and details the sympathetic tellings of Arthur Flick. This movie is just wasting film and audiences.

Lady Gaga is underused and misused. Unfortunately, it was pointless to bring up the Harley-type character.

The movie does not have the same atmosphere or storytelling. It seemed forced and not really embracing the character.

The original used violence as means of the story. While here comedic and pointless.

This movie does not add to the tale of Flick but just a useless money-grab that will besmirch the original more than it helps.

  • Rare gem

Demi Moore is timeless and puts on an Oscar worthy performance

Coralie Fargeat is the director fans need to embrace. Following up Revenge with a real masterpiece.

A very visceral movie that embraces the Body Horror genre where it honors Cronenberg. With intelligent direction, the movie is a beautiful example of the ugliness of today's society.

The entire cast is amazing, Dennis Quaid steals every scene he is in. This is a perfect movie for horror fans, cinephiles, and those who like to explore the vanguard.

A lot of people are complaining it's to disgusting while it may but movies like Challengers & Kinds of Kindness are far more disgusting

    Thank you Corelie.

  • Exactly what you want in an action flick

It's not a great movie in the sense of story and ground breaking.

What it is it's an awesome action movie that makes up for story by giving the audience what they want... unadulterated violence that is both creative and fun. The movie is surprisingly funny where it makes up for the story itself.

The cast is just amazing. With each character, no matter small, is interesting. If the movie has more success, it would be absolutely amazing to see each character get their own movies.

Again, it's not going to garner Oscars or serious discussion but if you want to be entertained this movie will check all the boxes.

  • When a writer watched top much horror but got nothing out of it

How can cliche be so cliche?

Don't Turn Out The Lights is a masterclass in inept writing, directing and acting.

None of the characters get the audiences sympathy. The entire cast is idiotic and do all the cliche wrong moves.

All the wrong aspects from past horror films come out front and center.

Zero payoff for the torture watching this garbage. It has too many jump scares and not enough actual scares.

Do studios actually watch the movie before it's released? Seriously, a movie that does everything absolutely wrong?

The budget didn't go for editing, CGI, practical or acting itself. Audiences deserve their money back for this tripe.

  • Teen comedy is dead

When you have the blue prints of Superbad and American Pie, then you must ask yourself why is this so bad. A very simple concept and this fails at every level.

Earlier this year, Snack Shack was released and was an amazing teen comedy. Didn't get the fanfare which is sad. Now we get the Netflix release of Incoming, where it takes the worst troupes of teen comedy and forgets the humor.

Comedies have suffered the most with the evolution of cinema and this is another notch in wasted concept.

The genre of teen comedies need to be funny, this is lost.

The porn scene was disgusting and prolonged. It served no point as does the movie itself. Unfunny and resorts to cheap raunchy.

  • Unnecessary

Nostalgia has been driving cinema for the past few years but there comes a time where it cannot save the industry.

The Crow (2024) was a movie that was unnecessary and proved a good idea can be wasted in poor vision

The whole charm of The Crow, it was different and offered audiences something unchartered. In this adaption it's all been done and unfortunately better.

Bill Skarsgard is talented but he lacks the charm of being this dark soul. Earlier, he did a movie called Boy kills the World where he's silent and put out a better performance than this dribble he put out.

The director and studio banked on cgi and dull action scenes and totally forgot about story and character.

  • Critics usually are wrong but not here

Let's just be honest, this is exactly what a studio wanted to make without understanding the videogame or audience's preferences.

Everything wrong can be traced back to this movie. Direction gets a lion-share of the blame and it's rightfully so. Eli Roth is very talented but he had no clue and it spews.

Cast was miscast and that led for a snowball effect. Jack Black was horrible and has never improved and with two successes, studio thought he would serve a purpose. Like in real life, he's horrible. Kevin Hart is 5'3. Roland should be 6'5. So let's not be all physical but it makes no sense. And let's not talk about Jamie Lee Curtis' off-putting performance.

Unfortunately, a lot of people were excited. The ads were not half bad. Then the actual movie comes out and it ends excitement and utter disgust fills the minds of audiences.

Everyone involved should give their money back and be banned from participating in any other projects....really it's that bad. Second worst movie of 2024, the top honor is Fabulous Four but this comes close.

  • Movies done right transcends genre

Recently, studios have been making movie they like but this doesn't fall prey. Deadpool & Wolverine is a love letter to fans and was done perfectly.

Movie that embraces comedy, action and still entertains. The cast was amazing. The reality of seeing anyone else play either is almost impossible; even though we had a slight cameo.

Not only is this a love letter to fans but it's a great way if introducing two of the greatest marvel characters to the MCU.

2024 has been underwhelming but D&W puts that aside and we get a masterpiece. In a fair world, D&W should be considered for several Oscars but unfortunately movies like Challengers will get all the accolades while D&W was the perfect movie.

    Can't recommend it enough.

  • Hollywood has done it....pushed crap as a masterpiece

This movie is horrible and if anyone tells you otherwise are being paid off.

Glen Powell is the flavor of the month and it's the worst to swallow. Hollywood and critics will be praising his every role but in reality he's an actor with limited ability and off-putting behavior.

The movie itself it too complicated to be entertaining and it's stupid to boot. So you have withstand horrible storytelling with a bad tale.

Movies need to entertain, this fails the very basic necessity. Again, Hollywood isn't listening to audiences and are creating a blitzkrieg of underwhelming movies and because the alternative are worse, we get very bad movies and we have to accept them as being good.

This movie is anything but good.

  • Comedy is dead

What do you get when you have an idea and no barrier to stop it?

This is another horrible movie that doesn't add to humor but bad behavior being rewarded.

John Cena attempts at humor come off as raunchy and drops the ball completely.

Zac Efron comes off of Iron Claw to this horrible mess. And the rest of the cast wastes the audiences time and further adds to terrible actors and actresses.

The whole premise is an imaginary friend coming to light is brilliant but the execution of this is crap.

There is no redeemable factors of this movie. It's acting and comedy are just people behaving badly and someone filmed it.

Unfortunately, this is the direction of comedy. We don't get funny but stupidity, raunchiness and debauchery that isn't entertaining to anyone involved.

  • Drive away.....

What do you get when you have a great cast and music but have no clue how to use the gifts?

Drive away dolls misses the point with it's comedy because the target audience would laugh but outside the target will be lost.

The cast is great again the insults and criticism isn't towards them. It's storytelling and direction that are lost.

1hr & 24minutes are wasted with a lot of nonsense. What they thought was funny was often doesn't actually get laughs.

Chemistry is solid which is unfortunate these stars are in this movie.

The movie is a disappointment where it's so bad that it's bad. It won't be a cult film and will have its fanbase but the vast majority will not like this dribble.

  • Hidden Gem my ass

This is a boring movie that has no rhyme or reason. The longest one hour and 26 minutes ever.

Maybe editing needs to be at a premium.

The whole slow burn was just that slow.

The acting was decent but the problem was no story development until the last 23 minutes...making the first hour and few minutes just wasted the entire audiences viewing pleasure.

1970's movies seemed dirty and visceral...this is no exception so instead of taking advantage of the rural setting and the atmosphere...this movie milks padding time that doesn't add to the story.

Again, the critics call this a hidden gem. Actually it should be used for the cute of insomnia.

  • Killing It...killing Comedy

    Comedy is officially dead.

This show isn't remotely funny and what's the purpose?

Is it trying to be heartwarming where a failed father try to get his daughter back....it is too thin to be a factor.

The supporting cast is lacking any talent and is just hurting any interest in this show.

Why the hell is this on TV?

It's not funny It's not moral It's not situational

Again, there are band of so-called comedians just destroying comedy to the point where it's groups of friends showing up.

So the writing strike and actors are exactly the reason these cretins don't deserve a pay raise.

    Craig Robinson....wasted talent.

  • Fall from grace and comedies die

Jennifer Lawrence falls from grace by doing this sophomoric comedy that lacks real comedy. Watching the promos and commercials, this plays out as a coming of age comedy but we get a poor film that takes a serious social issues and tries to make light.

Parents concerned about their social awkward child is a real concept but the route this movie takes it's almost an abuse as a resolution. The 'craigslist' approach to trade for social awkwardness is both dangerous and poor parenting.

Then Jennifer Lawrence, an actress that was an Oscar worthy actress, tries her hand at comedy and comes out as cringeworthy and disingenuine.

Comedies are slowly dying out for raunch and low brow romps. It fails to be a true comedy and it really doesn't have that background feel good moment.

Many are claiming this is a return of raunchy comedies which is sad if this is the gold standard.

Matthew Broderick, who starred in one of the best comedies Ferris Bueller's Day Off, reduced to this farce of a dad who is concerned for a real behavior awkwardness with a negligent response. Overall, no real likeable characters. Only resolution for a simple problem is with a sick and unlawful isn't a good feel good story but quite the opposite.

  • What's the point?

A very bland introspective look at the negativity of get togetherness. This Friendsgiving was an absolute mess.

I understand a lot of the nuovo movies need to have that visceral look and feel but this has 6 characters that are totally unlikeable.

The humor is non-existent and the story is slow. I think it was 1 hour and 18 minutes but felt like three hours of nothingness.

I get it, the movie went for that haphazard feel but there was no direction. I really don't understand what is considered humor nowadays.

The formula for humor is to at least get a chuckle and this movie lacks any of this.

  • Something so spicy turns bland

2023, we have seen movies about products that came to be. The movie Air is the best example how the process can be eventful.

Now let's delve into the movie Flamin' Hot. It plays out as an inspirational movie of a man and his dream but the problem is poor direction gives no in-depth feel.

A story is presented as a one-dimentional we vs them. Almost if it's not us, it's not worth it. Which works sometimes but in this case comes out as cold and senseless.

Again, poor direction takes all the elements out of the equation. The idea of a recipe, if you put all the food, spices, and magic happens. In the movie Flamin' Hot, too many chefs creates a disaster where the spice turns into a bland and tasteless end result.

Superhero films are often critiqued differently but this movie is nearly perfect.

Visually it's just stunning. Each character is intriguing and worth the building.

The story is strong and it out does the original. The addition of Spiderman 2099; just genius.

A fun ride from beginning to end, where everything is multidimensional and thought provoking.

In a year blockbusters are rare, this is a pure pleasure for movie goers. Fans of spiderman will be pleased. Fans of superhero movies will be pleased. Fans of just movies will be pleasantly surprised how intelligent this movie really is.

    A pure delight.

  • Maybe time for the broken lizard to be put to sleep

Super troopers was a masterpiece but everything else after the original has been crap. I understand working with friends is important but sometimes 'yes' men are the worst poison.

Quasi is an absolute disaster that it doesn't offer humor or anything worthwhile. It's not creative and trying to use classic bits just doesn't work.

It's bland and the chemistry is non-existent. Again, sometimes lightening strikes twice but at this point, one needs to realize this sophomoric romp isn't funny and just wastes audiences' time.

Brian Cox is an amazing actor but this is beneath him and the rest of the cast are forcing lines.

So Hulu plus made an error of putting this garbage on their network because this gives the Broken Lizard opportunity to make more movies and further embarrassing themselves.

  • And now we will be lectured by a talentless hack

The idea to make cartoons for adults have been played with for ages. Ralph Bakshi was one of the innovators of the genre.

This is nothing more than an uninventive attempt to be shocking and to be the moral compass to the audience. Let's start with when Mindy talked about the project before it was even made. "Audiences will be made with a women of color to lead a story but to make her a lesbian with create shockwaves" So I'm sure it was deep seeded idea to create a project to gain discussion.

Now the actual product is released and you get nothing about bitching and moaning with no humor. 90% of the jokes are insulting to the audience and 100% disrespectful to the actual creative property.

Taking a beloved character was the first step of an uncreative approach. Mindy lacking depth took an established character to screw with knowing it will get people talking. This is obviously a trend being used. Winnie the Pooh and the Grinch have been exposed to the same perversions.

The worst part, we will see Mindy do a campaign to insult the audience for not liking her monstrosity. This is the biggest problem no accountability for putting out crap.
