This show intrigued us from the start and it didn't disappoint. The casting of James Purefoy and Michael Williams as Hap and Leonard as two bickering yet loyal buddies sets the tone for some interesting and entertaining adventures. Hap and Leonard reminds us of how important casting is to any successful production.

The show is peppered with some dark humour yet serious and brutal enough to include some bloody violence. The story line personalities of these two make for some well written and well delivered dialogue between the two individuals.

We hope they have many more adventures in the seasons ahead.

We went into watching this movie without expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised. Seth Rogen and James Franco were well cast together in this movie. I especially like James Franco's and the character he played. He was great. I wasn't too sure about the harsh language in the movie. However, it really didn't come across as offencive given the humour in which it was delivered. It's too bad Kim Jong Un doesn't have a sense of humour. It definitely has its moments. Instead, he condemns it and turns it into a surprise hit. The movie was entertaining, action oriented and delivered. Watch it, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Slow and simmering, with great acting by McConaughey and Harrelson. It just gets better and better. Great television. If they make another True Detective this one will set the bar. McConaughey is almost unrecognizable in his role as Rusty Cohle. Rusty's character is intriguing with a chilling intensity. Woody Harrelson is well cast as his partner.

This show is slow, dark and brooding, almost frightening in a sneaking up on you kind of way. It's a whole different kind of movie intensity. You don't want to miss an episode. Looking forward to see how it all comes together. HBO makes the grade with this one.
