The greatest rockstar of all time descends from his mighty guitarformed cloud, 2 grace the world of sitcom.
He should've done more stuff like this. People don't realise, but he actually had a great sense of humour.
They cover the ping pong, the pancakes and the wild freakout of people who got near him.
Prince was otherworldly. An untouchable musician, if not a supergreat actor, and what he does in this episode is amazing. I wish he'd been a recurring character from then on. Kinda like a dream-genie purple Yoda, that could've come in once in a while to help solve the characters problems.
It's not hard 2 "Fall in Love 2nite" with this amazing episode!

I knew nothing about this show, safe from what I heard on Red Letter Media's 2023 movie catch-up.
It's so funny, surprising and heartwarming. I took it all in one sitting.
I wish there was more original content like this. It really shows what happens when VERY different people are brought together to solve a task.
Marsden is great as himself and the unknowing lead, Ronald, is probably the nicest guy I've ever seen on tv. The Bizarro Larry David, in fact.
The production is immaculate, and this is what American tv can.
My advice is: Read as little as you possibly can about this show, sit back and enjoy the ride. You won't regret it.

The two stars are: 1. For Stellan Skarsgård, who is always fascinating to watch.
The other is for the fact, that this movie inspired the masterpiece "Insomnia", directed by Christopher Nolan.
To say that Nolans film is a remake, is really a stretch. The comparisons seems almost incidental.
In this movie, the characters go about like Norwegian and Swedish robots. There's no inner life, they act completely illogical, and the underlying theme of insomnia is poorly executed.
The American version is elegant, mystical, fascinating and logical in its build up.
Avoid this travesty by all means. You'll regret you spend any time with it. See the Nolan masterpiece instead.
