  • A great production and still casting non-Indian actor for India roles who can't speak the Hindi!

Everything was great in the season till episode 1. Great premise, acting, background score, screenplay.

Then came the second episode with international characters.

Being Indian, I was expecting the Indian character 'Laxmi' to speak Hindi correctly. And when she started, blabbering in 'God knows what' accent. I was like, please continue your fake accent in English.

Such a great production, and you still don't have people who can do justice with non-english characters?

This used to happen in 2-3 decades back, when non-Hindi speakers were used for North- Indian role!

But in 2025, you are making blunders of this kind?

  • A boring story about nothing

A boy, a narcissistic bisexual and a girl... Magnificent acting around a nothing story... It's talking about love with no emotions! Only sex... Just float around like pendulum... If you are spending so much money in production, at least try to make it interesting...! This much monotonous movie... Just one thing was marvellous, that was acting... What's worse? Story, background music, cinematography... You can sleep over during the movie and still can tell what happened in movie... Some irrelevant backstories... Just watch whatever trash we are showing... So, if you have lots of time to spend.. nothing better to do in life or a fan of Adele.. watch this movie.. or, hell run out...!!!

  • Best of Randeep after Lal Rang

This series is primarily in Simple Punjabi (and still if you cannot understand, then Hindi option is there).

Story- Intriguing, Intense, Inspired from real events with enough suspense. After almost a year any series was able to make me binge watch and was definitely worth it. Some of the negative reviews are about cut here, that's a speciality (if you cannot follow this much timeline, please never watch series like dark, your small brain will explode)..

Acting- Randeep Hooda's best work since Lal rang (if you haven't watched, just watch).. rest of the characters are equally supporting... There's no scope of bad acting in this series.

Cinematography - probably YRF fans won't like the violence in sarso (mustard farms) ke khet.. otherwise, all the timelines are shown accordingly...

Music- yes, it has songs.. and surprisingly that's good too... Saying more would become spoiler...

Overall- There are just 2 series I've watched which does justice with Punjab.. 1st is Tabbar and second is CAT.

It is for - everyone who loves good story, acting

Not For- Bollywood masala movie fans... There's too much flashback cuts, no glamour, no unnecessary dialogues for you (be happy with Sallu and south Indian Remakes).
