This show was far longer than it needed to be. It's as if the producers were told to make a number of episodes before they knew what to fill those episodes with!
There were way too many episodes that left you with the feeling "what actually happened in this one?". Looking back, I could've saved plenty of wasted, lost hours by only watching the first couple of episodes and then jumped to the last one.
No actors in the world could save the dreadfully slow pace of Hijack. I just started watching Apple TV+, and I hope this pace isn't a hint that this is what ATV+ is all about - shows being stretched out with no real content just to have longer series to fill the streaming service with. Time will tell.
Hijack really wasn't a well paced show to start my (brief? Without any Apple devices, I can't even set up family sharing, so I have a feeling that this service isn't something I'll stick with for long) Apple TV+ experience with.
