Picked this movie out randomly on Netflix. Glad (or too bad) I didn't read reviews or ratings before hand because I definitely would have skipped it. This movies wasn't pure nonsense, but it was totally ridiculous. So many random actors, random accents, bad acting, absurd scenes of people swinging from vines in trees, cheesy hard to watch scenes, Matthew Lillard delivery highschool drama class level fight scenes... I gave up trying to take it seriously pretty early on and just gave in to hate watching it. It was the only way I could get through it.
If you don't like very crappy fantasy movies be sure to skip this one.

A whole 1hr 40 mins without dialogue. I don't understand the choice for this. The wife didn't say good-bye when she left, no discussion about when the Xmas tree is coming down or why they're having trouble taking it down, superficial 1 line texts that are supposed to fill things in... This movie was dull and hard to get through and the absolute lack of talking didn't help.
They never showed us any of the gang member involved in the shoot out that killed his son so is he just going around killing ALL gang members?
And how is he paying for a year's worth of training and all the equipment he needed to carry out his revenge?
The plot just doesn't make sense either.

This documentary was very disappointing. Firstly, it could've been 2 episodes or even just 1 long one. They spent so much time discussing things not related to the actual case and the way they kept circulating back on the story rather than continuing to move forward was excruciating. Everyone interviewed was so dull and crusty (except the defence lawyer) so again made the story very dry and move even slower. By the time I could tell there was going to be no resolution to the story it was too late and I was too far in. I hate to say it but this was very dull to watch. Even with no real resolution I'm not left wanting more.
