When I first heard of this show i was skeptical at first, but trying to sit through one episode was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Even going through the opening theme, I could tell that I was heading for torture. It's mind numbing and made my eyes sting. Back when the show was new, I could tell it wasn't going to be great, but THIS, this is one of the worst children's shows ever. A lot of the puppet citizens of Make believe were only kids in Mister Roger's Neighborhood. Ten years after the show ended, everyone who we knew are now adults! How does that work?! Also, the way these characters look, which is supposed to be charming and cute, they creep me out. Along with that, a lot of the writing is also dumb, "grr-ific!" apparently that's what the writers think is clever, so they're obnoxiously putting it in episodes just to see hardly anyone laugh at it. This MIGHT be okay for kids at around 5, but for those who grew up with Mister Rogers, can feel their childhood being brutally crushed! That's how i feel about this show, If Mister Rogers was still alive today to see this show, THIS would probably end up killing him anyway. I'm surprised to see this got over 5 in rating. Plain and simple, this is awful. And I hope it ends soon. If I ever have children, I'll make sure to keep them away from this show by any means necessary and instead give them The Original "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood," It's classic and MUCH more quality filled
Ah, this show. I remember it as one of my favorites as a kid, I watched it more than many others. Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, and Charlie Sheen are one of the best comedic trios I know. But then, IT came. The 9th season premiered and i was so upset when i found out they got rid of Charlie, and replaced him with Aston Kutcher. I got over it after a while, and Aston i thought was.... OK, not great but, OK "at least Alan and Jake are still here" i thought. And when things couldn't get worse that season, Jake leaves to go to the army. Now there's just Alan and that other guy, who i don't and would rather not know who he is! For those of you who are watching this show for the first time, take my advice. Give up at the end of the 8th season. Lest you wish to witness a great disappointment you'll never forget.
So, this was made in place of The Mask 2, huh? Well all I can say is that I feel sorry for the poor folks who took part in that Nintendo Power contest, because this being the sequel, I couldn't think of anyone who would take this awful flick as a prize for anything. Even when I was i kid, I didn't like it that much. Every time I was at the movie rental store, I'd always choose the original version. This is just a good example on how bad sequels can really be, It's dumb, creepy, obnoxious, and makes your eye sting. This has got to be one of the biggest regrets I have in life, All that i'm thankful for is there isn't gonna be a 3rd one. Oh crap... I might've jinxed it, didn't I?
