If you are a parent and you see this movie and you decide that your kids can't watch it then you are the one that needs to watch it.
More than anything this movie is about an overbearing mother who won't give her child space to be her own person or grow up.
Kids are not just small creatures that have to respect you and do what you say. Kids need to be respected too. At one point, Meilin says something along the lines of "if we're going to try so hard to be good and still not be treated right then what is the point?" Every parent needs to hear this. If you have a good child that listens to and respects you, you need to reward them with the same respect and the same open ear.
9/10 teenagers have some sort of rebellious streak. If you talk to them and actually take the time to get to know them as they become their own person, you can be a part of their adolescence. You can have adult conversations with them about why you don't want them to go to the concert or to the party. "No, because I said so" is not good enough.
If you just refuse to let them change and force rules on them without explanation, they are going to sneak around and lie to do what they want to do.
This is a very good, well written, and funny movie and anyone talking about censoring it from their children needs to look inward.

Bo is an immensely talented individual. The work shown in this special is phenomenal. Directing, lighting, writing, and composing are all on-point. The mind boggles to consider how much effort and thought went in to putting it all together, especially with no outside input. I can't even imagine it. I worry for Bo's mental health and his pain is apparent throughout Inside. I hope that he knows that he is loved and appreciated for more than just being a performer. I hope that the story he told during the Get Your Hands Up song is true and that he has made improvements to himself. There is no shame in hiding from the world to allow yourself to heal. I am very proud of him for his personal accomplishments and I hope that Bo finds people in his life to help him keep moving forward. If I knew him personally I would be honored to be his friend.
Everyone who has seen her loves Nadiya. She is a national treasure. I love watching this show because of the joy and life she brings to the screen. When she is on, everyone is smiling. I want this show to continue but I do wish that she'd use healthier stuff. Frozen stuff is usually fine but canned things are often heavily processed and not good for you, and especially not for kids. There are plenty of ways that you can speed things up in the kitchen while staying healthy.
I only made a few of the recepies in the show but loved watching every moment of it. Nadiya is so kind and full of life it just warms your heart to see her having a good time. I want more but maybe less canned and processed stuff.
