Watching this episode you have to feel the effort and the energy put into this episode. Everything is flawlessly brilliant. The whole of Documentary Now is a example of television shows being greatly under appreciated.

Me and my much older wife were sat down about to tuck into our weekly Toblerone we bought from the Morrisons round the corner. We stuck on the telly to watch Country File with that lovely young man Matt Baker on. My wife thinks he'd be a good match for our daughter Janine who hasn't had much luck with the fellas since she got lost in that maze in Somerset. So there we was watching the introduction for a promising night of birds and lovely country paths from the safety of our living room. Suddenly the tv began to scramble and Matt Baker began to alter into someone I really didn't want to see. I quickly grabbed the remote, also knocking my half of the Toblerone onto the floor. I began mashing the buttons in an attempt to stay safely with that lovely Matt Baker, however it wouldn't work. Matt Baker began taking form of the dreaded man I didn't want to see. My poor wife began to cry out in terror. "Don't look", I screamed. "Close your eyes!". My attempts at stopping this dreaded mans possession of my LG TV set was futile. Shielding my eyes from the Medusa gaze radiating from the screen I lunged forward to the plug sockets. Fumbling through the various plugs, I pulled all out one by one in an attempt to stop him. Having removed the last plug from the socket I realised he had complete control. The Television remained on despite not being connected to any electricity. I turn back to my wife hoping she would still be hiding from the screen or hoping she had fled the room, but it was too late. He had her where he wanted her. Her eyes open wide staring into the void that was once Country File. I stayed on the carpet in a state of shock, not knowing what I could do. I suddenly snapped out of it and pounced for my wife in a final attempt to remove her from the room before his evil could consume us. I grabbed her by both arms and began to slowly head for the doorway. Suddenly my feet stumbled over the now melted Toblerone. I looked down at the ground hoping to prevent yet another stumble. Then he got me as well. I must've ever so slightly looked at the screen, but he had me. My mind began to warp and alter as though out of balance with reality. I felt my body return to my chair and my wife to hers. Now transfixed by the screen I could not move a muscle and was caught in a uncompromising staring contest with the screen. I could now see him clearer than I had seen anything before, I felt like a baby opening their eyes and seeing the world for the first time. However, it wasn't the world I was seeing, it was the fiery depths of Hell. Satan approached the crowd of laughing clapping lunatics to begin to his address to us and them. His mouth opened. He spoke. "Good evening everyone let's get into the news". Feeling like a puppet and he the cunning ventriloquist he replies through me "Yes Mr Corden, I'm ready for the news".
